How can the processes of projection and the manipulation of light reflection be used to create more immersive and atmospheric conditions in interior spaces?

The Intensity of Immersive Situations

Self-Immersion

I explored my self-Immersion moments when worked at home under the red light. I am a red-light lover.

Body as Surface

I was an observer in the self-immersion project. How about turning the human body into surface elements construct an immersive experience. Here are different situations. I created a unity of interior surface and the skin through projection.

Relentless Patterns

Inspired by the surface project, I explored re-considering the immersive interior space from its external, surfaces, internal by applying relentless patterns on interior walls, ceiling, surface of objects.

Reverspective

I explored what extrusions could do towards immersion. Inspired by reverspective painting by Patrick. I did my own reverspective based on my living room and bedroom. Then I pull it apart, the immersion occurred when body moved from the side to the front, people will feel surrounded first according to one description of the space, then another.

the Relation of Patterns and the Body Movement...

Anamorphic Prices

I was inspired by anamorphic pieces by Felice Varini, when visitors view it from the other side, the patterns in the interior space seem like without any order. Once you moved your body and eyesight at a certain position, all parts united into one and it is like floating in the interior space.

Camera Obscura

Camera Obscura also known as pinhole image, I did experiments to figure out immersed in digital projection or natural projection. Through the pinhole, the images show an inverted and reversed look. In the natural projection, I keep the bedroom dark and a upside down image of the exterior city view is projected in the interior.

Convex Lens Imaging

Light projection constructed an immersive interior. what about light reflection. Wine glass with water, the reflections upside down. If using a tube glass, the reflection flipped horizontally. If using magnifying glass, the reflection of distant objects on the glass becomes upside-down.
