Camera Obscura

Camera obscura also referred to as pinhole image, is the natural optical phenomenon that occurs when an image of a scene at the other side of a screen is projected through a small hole in that screen as reversed and inverted image on a surface opposite to the opening.

I cut a "7" on the paper and use the projector to make massive light come though the cut part and the little hole. Then the"7" inverted and reversed becomes "L"...

I used my bedroom as a site and keep the environment as dark as possible. A big sheet of cardboard with a hole at the centre is placed on the window to let the sunlight come through the hole. Finally, an inverted and reversed image of the exterior city view is projected in the interior ...
